Super important shipping update!

Highness is still going strong and we’ve got lots of new jewellery and ideas coming. We’ve just made a small update to our shipping schedule.

For the past 10 years we’ve packed and shipped orders same day, overnight, every day. We’re incredibly proud of that and so grateful for the support that’s grown this little store into what it is today.

These days our daughter JD is growing up fast, and alongside the website we’re also running our busy brewery. Chris and I both work there full time while also running Highness, which is still a huge priority for us.

It’s a big job keeping both going, so we’re moving to a weekly dispatch to keep everything balanced for our whānau.

- Orders are now packed and dispatched every Wednesday.
- Order before Friday at 12pm to be included in the next Wednesday dispatch.
- Orders placed after Friday 12pm will ship the following Wednesday.

Everything else stays the same. Same jewellery, same care, same small family business behind it all.

Highness is stronger than ever and we’ve got plenty of new pieces on the way.

Thank you for supporting our little whānau 💛

Heck yeah, this little beauty features a hand carved buffalo bone skull, we’re not quite sure what magical powers you need to be able to carve such a tiny masterpiece, but clearly they’re out there!

The buffalo horn used for this jewellery comes from remote areas on the island of Sulawesi and Sumatra where locals still in ways of ancient tradition eat buffalo meat as part of their daily food. Under strict supervision of local wildlife and animal protective organisations the buffalo bone is purchased from communities that otherwise have no use for it and are just a bi-product from their eating habits.

PS our pictures are a touch sh*t at times, this work of art is a whole heap more amazing in person.
