Implant Grade Titanium Insertion Taper - Threaded (16g-14g)

These are little life savers! Insertion tapers are used to stretch up just a little or to just help guide your internally threaded jewellery in, what you do is screw your internally threaded post on the end, gently guide the taper through and it will pull the post into your piercing, you then unscrew the post and pop the top of your jewellery on. These can be extra handy if you find getting posts in a bit fiddly, or if your piercing is used to a smaller gauge ie you've been wearing standard studs with butterflies (typically 20g-18g) and you want to wear a piece of standard sized piercing jewellery (16g-14g).
Please do your own research regarding the best method for using these ie how to lubricate the taper, how it should feel etc. Everyone's experiences are a little different and different piercers also have their own recommendations.
We can not guarantee that these will fit all internally threaded jewellery as you may have jewellery from another manufacturer, but they will fit our entire titanium range.

NZ Orders $50+ qualify for free tracked overnight shipping - rural included.
All standard sized orders will be sent via NZ Post overnight courier service (est 1-2 days delivery). Large items ie artwork will be sent via NZ Post economy courier.
Shipping for orders under $50 is $4.50.
Orders $100+ will be sent signature required, if your order is under $100 and you’d like signature required please just let us know and we’ll add it for no extra cost.
Same day dispatch for orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri where possible, may exclude orders where communication and/or clarification is required.
International Shipping
We've just got Aussie and USA shipping back up and running, head to the checkout and enter your address for pricing. Please contact us if you'd like an item larger than jewellery shipped so that we can give you an accurate shipping quote. We reserve the right to cancel orders if a large item is ordered and shipping costs more than the automated shipping rate at checkout, if this happened we'd get in touch first to discuss whether you'd like to pay extra for shipping or whether you'd prefer the order to be cancelled.
Other countries - just flick us a line and we'll add your country, we charge our courier companies standard rates and do not add on to this fee. We are highly against profiting off shipping costs and are committed to offering the best price.
- Any product ordered via backorder will typically be dispatched in 1-3 weeks, external factors such as courier delays can affect this timeframe so we appreciate your understanding if backorders take a little longer.
- If you’re after an item that does not specifically state that it’s available via backorder just flick us a message and we’ll see what we can arrange.
