All jewellery is meticulously handcrafted by highly skilled glass artisans in small production batches. The company utilises high-quality soda-lime and borosilicate glass for their raw materials.

Gorilla Glass is a community-oriented company with a goal of creating long-term employment opportunities for working women and mothers from the small communities near the workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. They proudly state that 85% of their artisans are women, including supervisors and administrators. Gorilla Glass offers a range of benefits from paid training to learn a qualified professional trade, to full medical coverage, paid maternity leave, and free childcare near the Gorilla Glass studio.

Environmental sustainability is a priority for Gorilla Glass, and they have been actively working with innovative production techniques to reduce their environmental impact for years. Their popular Upcycle Project features one-off jewellery made from remelted glass waste and surplus glass stock. They are committed to expanding the Upcycle Project with a goal to reduce their use of raw material by 50% by 2032. As part of this initiative, Gorilla Glass will cut back and discontinue the use of new raw glass material as they refocus on recycling waste glass.
