All plating materials are lead, cadmium and nickel free. Metallic plating can tarnish depending on the environment it is kept in but tarnish remover can be used to clean and remove tarnish from jewellery. Unfortunately plating will wear off after a while but here are some recommendations you can take to make it last as long as possible! Avoid rubbing plating and do not expose to high temperatures. Always take off your jewellery when dealing with cosmetics and chemicals, such as soaps, shampoos and perfumes. Remove jewellery when swimming in salt water or heavily chlorinated pools as they can damage the plating. All materials used meet or exceed CPSIA and Prop 65 standards.

International Shipping
We currently ship to Aussie only - we charge cost price shipping and do not mark it up at all.
We previously shipped internationally, but despite clear disclaimers about delivery times of up to a month, we still received complaints of delivery times of up to a month (typically less actually!). For now, we’ve limited international shipping to Australia.
- Any product ordered via backorder will typically be dispatched in 1-3 weeks, external factors such as courier delays can affect this timeframe so we appreciate your understanding if backorders take a little longer.
- If you’re after an item that does not specifically state that it’s available via backorder just flick us a message and we’ll see what we can arrange.
- Please consult your piercer for the best advice on the style and size of jewellery suitable for your piercing.
- If you have any questions or concerns about the functionality of your jewellery, or if you suspect that you may have received a faulty item (e.g., something feels too tight, loose, or wobbly), please contact us before wearing it.
- We do not accept responsibility for any injury caused by the incorrect wear or use of jewellery purchased from Highness. We endeavor to provide all relevant information for each piece of jewellery and encourage customers to reach out with any questions before use. Additionally, we do not take responsibility for damage caused by the misuse of jewellery or wearing jewellery in an inappropriate piercing.
